I'm aware of the extreme poverty that some people in this world experience, but it's not something I think about every day. I'm humbled when on a day like today, I realize that some are devoting their lives, to make living a better experience for others.

I solute organizations like Kiva (http://www.kiva.org) for their micro financiering efforts and other individuals like Shawn (http://www.youtube.com/user/UnculturedProject) that packed it all up and moved to the other side of the world (inspite of saving up for an Xbox).

The company I work for is also involved in sponsoring AIDS orphans in Kenya and Uganda (http://www.hotcoursesfoundation.org/).

I remember when guys used to have long frizzy hair and scream like women in their songs... and it was cool. :( I miss bands like Skid Row and Whitesnake.
